You can put this solution on YOUR website!
W=10x%2F%28150-x%29
First of all, if the above is correct, then please put parentheses around multiple-term numerators and denominators. What you posted meant W=10x%2F150-x

To solve for x we will start by simplifying. This means go through the order of operations (aka PEMDAS) on each side. It also means eliminate fractions. To eliminate the fraction we multiply both sides by the denominator:
%28150-x%29%28W%29=%28150-x%29%2810x%2F%28150-x%29%29
which simplifies to:
150W-xW+=+10x
No other simplifications can be done. Next we will gather the x terms one side and the other terms on the other side of the equation. This can be done by simply adding xW to each side:
150W+=+10x%2BxW
The terms on the right side are not like terms so we cannot combine them. And this is where it gets a little difficult. Usually at this point we have "something times x" and the next step would be to divide by the "something". But we do not have "something times x"... yet. When the x terms don't add together like 10x and xW, factor out the x:
150W+=+x%2810%2BW%29
Now we have "something times x" (or x times something). And we can divide by the something:
150W%2F%2810%2BW%29+=+x
We have now solved for x.
