b) An airline working to decrease lost baggage has already improved 100% in the last six months"
c) "If interest rates drop from 10% to 5%, that is a 100% reduction."

Criticize the following claims which were cited in the New York Times of September 25, 1987 and October 21, 1987:

You can't reduce plaque by more than 100%.

b) An airline working to decrease lost baggage has already improved 100% in the last six months"
If it improved to 100%, there is no more room for improvement.

c) "If interest rates drop from 10% to 5%, that is a 100% reduction."
It would have to drop to 0% to be 100% reduction. (10-0)/10*100%=100%
