At which value for x does the sign of x-2 change? What is the function when x is less than this value? What is the function when x is greater than this value?

x-2=0
x=2
An important value of f is f(2). This is where the function sharply changes direction. x-2%3C0 when x%3C2.
x-2%3E=0 when x%3E=2.
