Let x be her present age.
(x+11) will be her age in 11 years.
3(x-7) her age 7 years ago.
x+11=3(x-7)
x+11=3x-21
x-3x=-21-11
-2x=-32
x=-10/-2
x=16 years old is her present age.
Proof:
16+11=3(16-7)
27=3*9
27=27
