Multiply both sides of the equation by (X-4) That will cancel the denominator.
You'll get:
Y-2 = -2X +8
Now add 2 to both sides:
Y = -2X +10
If you had to graph it. You'd start at 10 on the Y axis, go down 2 over 1.
