Question 722184: So, the question in my textbook reads:
"Determine whether the given value of x is a non-permissible value for the rational expression."
a) "(3x + 9)/[(x-5)(x+6)]
I did the work for the denominator and found that the Non-permissible values for 'x' are "5 and -6."
The numerator factors to 3(x+3), however I am not sure if I have to do anything with the numerator. 5/0 is considered undefined, but is 0/5? please help. thank you so much.
