Question 721425: Add or subtract as indicated. Then simplify your answer if possible. Leave your answer in terms of sin θ and/or cos θ.
sin θ + 1/cos θ
1/cos theta is sec
So it would be sin theta + sec theta?
Is that correct?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Add or subtract as indicated. Then simplify your answer if possible. Leave your answer in terms of sin θ and/or cos θ.
sin θ + 1/cos θ
1/cos theta is sec
So it would be sin theta + sec theta?
Is that correct?
----------------
sin + sec is correct, but it says to leave the answer in terms of sin and cos.

"Simplified" can be a matter of opinion.
In terms of sin & cos,
sin + 1/cos is as simple as it gets.
