You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solve: log%285%2Cx%29-log%285%2C%28x-2%29%29=log%285%2C4%29
subtraction of logs is divide
log%285%2C%28x%2F%28x-2%29%29%29=log%285%2C4%29
we can get rid of log base 5 on both sides and write it:
x%2F%28x-2%29 = 4
mult both sides by (x-2)
x = 4(x-2)
x = 4x - 8
8 = 4x - x
8 = 3x
x = 8/3
