You can put this solution on YOUR website!
%285%2Bh%29%5E3=(5+h)(5+h)(5+h)
let's multiply the first pair of brackets using FOIL (First, Outer, Inner, Last) and leave the last bracket alone for now
giving
%285%5E2%2B5h%2B5h%2Bh%5E2%29%285%2Bh%29
simplifying this gives
%2825%2B10h%2Bh%5E2%29%285%2Bh%29
now we have to multiply these two brackets together
we multiply everything in the first bracket by each term in the second
we'll multiply everything by the 5 first and then by the h
125%2B50h%2B5h%5E2%2B25h%2B10h%5E2%2Bh%5E3
now we'll gather like terms and simplify.
giving
125%2B75h%2B15h%5E2%2Bh%5E3
