Question 720404: 3(2^x+6)=17
Answer by tv96(8) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! 1. Divide 3 on both sides.
2. You'll be left with 2^x+6=5.667
3. In order to get rid of x, take the Log of 2 to 2 (that'll cancel out) and do the same on the other side. So it would look like this on the other side: log(2)5.667
4. Subtract the 6 from 2.5 and the answer should be -3.5
