You can put this solution on YOUR website!
[%28y%5E2+%2B+8y+%2B+16%29%2F%28y%29]/[(y + 4)]
factor the first equation, and make it a multiplication by finding the reciprocal of the second equation;
[%28y%2B4%29%28y%2B4%29%2Fy](1%2F%28y%2B4%29)
now cross cancel y+4 on each side;
%28y%2B4%29%2Fy(1)
%28y%2B4%29%2Fy
:)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
[(y^2 + 8y + 16)/(y)]/[(y + 4)]
Factor where you can and invert the denominator and multiply to get:
[(y+4)^2 / y]
=[(y+4)^2/y((y+4)]
=cancel the (y+4) that is common to numerator and denominator to get:
=(y+4)/y
