You can put this solution on YOUR website!
One angle is "x"; the other is 2x
Equation:
x + 2x = 180
3x = 180
x = 60 degrees
----
2x = 120 degrees

Supplementary angles are pairs of angles that add up to 180 degrees.
let angles be alpha and beta; so, alpha%2Bbeta=180
if alpha is twice the beta, we have alpha=2beta
then,2beta%2Bbeta=180 ..solve for beta
3beta=180
beta=180%2F3
highlight%28beta=60%29
find alpha
alpha=2%2A60
highlight%28alpha=120%29
so, the value of the larger angle is 120%29
