You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A sample of size 7 (n = 7) has a mean of M = 9.
Sum of sample values = 7*9 = 63
-----------------------------------------------
One of the sample scores is changed from x = 19 to x = 5. What is the value for the new sample mean?
New sum of the sample values: 63-14 = 49
New mean of these sample values = 49/7 = 7
--------------------------------------
