We are given that
2*sqrt(x)=sqrt(x+2)
If we square both sides of the equation we will remove the radicals. So
(2*sqrt(x))^2=(sqrt(x))^2
2^2*(sqrt(x))^2=(sqrt(x))^2
4*x=x
4*x-x=0
3*x=0
x=0
