You can put this solution on YOUR website! Most of this is to look into how long one man takes to do the job. Each time you halve the men, you double the time to do the job. At fulltime, 1 man needs 168 days to do the job just by himself. If this one many just works "half time", but this requires doubling the number of days again, this time to days.
Other readers and original poster: I may have misunderstood the question condition. You can still use some of the information developed in my discussion. In particular, each man working full time works at a rate of 168 days per job, or equivalently, 1 job in 168 days. At this rate, you may assume that three men are working full while one man is working at half the rate of a full rate.
