You can put this solution on YOUR website! Each triangle has angles whose sum is 180 degrees.
If the vertex angle is 40 degrees, that leaves 140 degrees for the other two.
If the triangle is isosceles the base angles are equal.
So 2x=140 and each angle is 70 degrees.
