A boat leaves from a dock, travels north. 8 kilometers, and then travels back 15 kilometers. If the boat travels back to the dock at a straight line, how many kilometers will the boat have traveled since it left the dock?

Hint: If the boat goes 8 klicks north, then turns around and goes 15 klicks south, it has gone 7 klicks past where it started and then has to go back that same distance to get to where it started.
