Notice how to jump from 1 to 3 (both of which are odd), you add 2.
Also, jumping from 7 to 9 (both odd), you add 2
So the general rule is: to go from one odd number to the next odd number is you add 2.
So add 2 to n+6 to get (n+6) + (2) = n+6 + 2 =
n + 8
