4x%2B5=3x-7, symmetric property
4x%2B5%2B%28-3x%29=3x-7%2B%28-3x%29, additive inverse property, also addition prop. of equality
1%2Ax%2B5=0-7, combining like terms, also additive inverse property
x%2B5%2B%28-5%29=-7%2B%28-5%29, additive inverse property, as well as addition property of equality
x=-12, simple arithmetic computation.
