You can put this solution on YOUR website!
%28%28x%2B2%29%2F2+%29-+%28%28y%2B4%29%2F3%29=3
LCD = 6
multiply equation by 6
%283%28x%2B2%29%2F2+%29-+%286%28y%2B4%29%2F3%29=6%2A3
3(x+2)-6(y+4) = 18
3x+6-6y-24=18
3x-6y = 36
/3
x-2y=12.......................(1)
.
%28%28x%2By%29%2F5%29=%28%28x+-+y%29%2F2%29+-+5%2F2
LCD = 10
multiply eauation by 10
we get
2(x+y)= 5(x-y)-25
2x+2y=5x-5y-25
7y-3x=-25.......................(2)
Solve equation (1) & (2)

1 x -2 y = 12 .............1
Total value
-3 x + 7 y = -25 .............2
Eliminate y
multiply (1)by 7
Multiply (2) by 2
7 x -14 y = 84
-6 x + 14 y = -50
Add the two equations
1 x = 34
/ 1
x = 34
plug value of x in (1)
1 x -2 y = 12
34 -2 y = 12
-2 y = 12 -34
-2 y = -22
y = 11
x= 34
y= 11
(34,11) is the solution
