Question 714939: I have a 300 gallon propane tank as it says on the label. the dimensions are
40.5 inches in diameter, a cylinder 26 inches in length, and a half sphere on each
side with a diameter of 40.5 inches. The gauge only reads in percent full. The
tank in on it's side with the cylinder horizontal to the ground. If there is 30%
left in the tank and they will fill it to 80%, How can I calculate precisely the
amount needed to fill the tank?
