to find any percentage of anything you have to do 2 things:
MULTIPLY THE NUMBERS then DIVIDE BY 100.
So to find 35% of 31
MULTIPLY 35 and 31
using a calculator gives 1085. (35*31=1085)
Now DIVIDE BY 100
again, using a calculator this is
10.85. (1085%2F100=10.85)
so 35% of 31 is 10.85
