Call the 2 equal sides of the smaller triangle x
Call the equal bases y
x+%2B+x+%2B+y+=+23
2x+%2B+2x+%2B+y+=+41
subtract the 1st from the 2nd
2x+=+18
x+=+9
x+%2B+x+%2B+y+=+23
18+%2B+y+=+23
y+=+23+-+18
y+=+5
So, the sides of the smaller are 9, 9, 5
and the larger are 18, 18, 5
