If i can ride a bicycle at a rate of 5 metre per seconds.How long will it take me to ride a distance of 12 kilometre at the same rate?
------
time = distance/rate = (12 km)/(5 m/s)
= (12*1000 meters)/(5 m/s)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
+d+=+r%2At+
+12+ km = +12000+ m
+12000+=+%285%2F1%29%2At+
+t+=+12000%2F5+ sec
+t+=+2400+ sec
There are +60+ sec in a minute, so
+2400%2F60+=+40+
It takes you 40 min to ride 12 km
