I came across this problem set that I dont understand how it came about with the solution. Pls help
Find the exact volume of sphere ( looks like half a sphere) with a radius of 8ft
the answer is: 1024/3 pi cu ft. How did this happen?

(4/3)(pi)r^3
if you have HALF of a sphere:
(1/2)(4/3)(pi)r^3
(2/3)(pi)r^3
.
plug in our radius:
(2/3)(pi)(8)^3
(2/3)(pi)(512)
(1024/3)(pi) cubic feet
