You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Your question gives us to solve the equation :-
6z - 1/3 = 5/3
see the point in these "solve the equation" problems whether there are fractions involved or not is to separate the unknown number ( in this case z)
side from all other numbers so that only that unknown numbers remains alone that side .We do this by adding , subtracting , multiplying , dividing corresponding numbers . When you solve a little higher level problems then you do something more than just addding, subtracting, etc. but you dont need them for this problem.
So this way you get the value of the unknown number which is the answer.
for example:-
6z - 1/3 = 5/3
6z - 1/3 + 1/3 = 5/3 + 1/3
6z = 6/3
6z = 2
6z/6 = 2/6
z = 1/3 Answer.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solve for z:
6z-1%2F3+=+5%2F3 First, to get rid of the fractions, you want to multiply everything by the common denominator. This is 3.
3%286z-1%2F3%29+=+3%285%2F3%29 Perform the multiplication.
18z-3%2F3+=+15%2F3 Simplify.
18z-1+=+5 Now add 1 to both sides of the equation.
18z+=+6 Finally, you divide both sides by 18.
z+=+6%2F18 Simplify.
z+=+1%2F3
