Question 712558: How do you graph y=|2x-2|?
Because absolute values is the distance away from 0, I thought it would be y=2x+2 ; m=2 b=(0,2). I think it's right but... it got confusing...

You can put this solution on YOUR website! graph y=|2x-2|
----
Since alsolute value cannot be negative find
the value of "x" where y = 0.
2x-2 = 0
2x = 2
x = 1
That gives you the lowest point of the graph at (1,0)
---
If x = 0, y = |-2| = 2 gives point (0,2)
If x = 2, y = |4-2| = 2 gives point (2,2)
Try x = -1 and x = 3 ; the point values are (-1,3) and (3,3)
------
Plot those points and connect them with a continuous line to get:
