The picture is a rectangle. To find the area of a rectangle, just multiply the length by the width:
A=(6 3/4)*(3 1/2)
Convert these mixed numbers to improper fractions:
A=(27/4)*(7/2)
Simplify:
A=189/8
Convert it back to a mixed number and you are done:
A=23 5/8
