First distribute the 7;
-3x + 14x- 21 = -4-6x
Add like terms;
11x - 21 = -4 -6x
add 6x to both sides;
11x-21+6x = -4 -6x +6x
17x-21=-4
add 21 to both sides;
17x=-4+21
17x = 17
divide each side by 17;
x=1
