You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Call the time it takes to fill the 2nd tank x hrs
Rate of filling 1st tank + rate of filling 2nd tank = combined rate of filling
1 tank / 4 hrs + 1 tank / x hrs = 1 / (x-2) hrs
1%2F4+%2B+1%2Fx+=+1%2F%28x-2%29
x%28x-2%29+%2B+4%28x-2%29+=+4x
x%5E2+-+2x+%2B+4x+-8+=+4x
x%5E2+-+2x+-8+=+0
x+-+4%29%28x+%2B+2%29+=+0
x = 4 hrs answer
check
1%2F4+%2B+1%2Fx+=+1%2F%28x-2%29
1%2F4+%2B+1%2F4+=+1%2F2
1%2F2+=+1%2F2
OK
