You can put this solution on YOUR website! standard form is ax+by=c
 soo y=1/2x+7
 ax should be 1/2x, by is y, and c is 7
 so all we have to do is subtract 1/2x from each side of the original equation
 -1/2x+y=7
 now, slope-intercept form of an equation is y=mx+b
 first, let us get y in one side
 add -3x from each side
 -3y=2-3x
 now, divide every term by -3 to isolate y.
 y=-2/3+x
 rearrage it a bit to put it in the form:
 y=x-2/3
