You can put this solution on YOUR website!
-2X+4Y=12 NOW MULTIPLY THE SECOND EQUATION BY 2 & ADD
6X-4Y=-20
-----------------------
4X=-8
X=-8/4
X=-2 ANSWER NOW SUBSTITUTE -2 FOR X
-2*-2+4Y=12
4+4Y=12
4Y=12-4
4Y=8
Y=8/4
Y=2 ANSWER
PROOF
3*-2-2*2=-10
-6-4=-10
-10=-10
