Total number of tickets = x+%2B+y+=6 ----------------eq.1
Cost of weekday ticket = $18
Cost of weekend ticket = $21
Total cost = $114
18x + 21y = 114 Divide the expression by 3
6x+%2B+7y+=+38 --------------------------------------eq.2
Solving eq.1 and 2, we get
y = 2 and x = 4
