Question 706103: Is this a inverse variation or no? If so, write an equation for the function.

y: 1/2,1/3,1/4,1/5

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Notice these things about the data:
x=5*n, y=1/n, and also n=x/5

Possibly try y=(1/n)(5n/(5n))
y=5n/(5n^2)= 5(x/5) over 5(x/5)^2,...
y=5/x

On initial checking, y=5/x seems to work. Make a table of x and y. Factor the x values. Look for a pattern and compare to the y values. That was how I started to find the three relations shown way above.
