You can put this solution on YOUR website! Factor each of the following trinomials completely: 2a^3 - 52a^2 b + 96ab^2
The answer I got for the equation was:
(2a)(a^2 - 26ab + 48b^2).....OK SO FAR BUT YOU CAN CONTINUE
=2A[A^2-24AB-2AB+48B^2]...FIND 2 FACTORS OF 48 WHOSE SUM IS 26...48=(-24)*(-2)
=2A[A(A-24B)-2B(A-24B)]
=2A(A-24B)(A-2B) IS THE ANSWER.
Is this correct? If not could you show me how to get the correct answer. Thanks.
