If I build a gazebo, with a floor the shape of a regular hexagon, each side being 12 feet, there would be two support beams crossing the floor, how long would both support beams be?
and
If support beams could only be purchased in 15 foot lengths, how long would each side of the hexagon be?

Therefore the support beams ar 2×12 feet or 24 feet each.

If the two green support beams were only 15 feet each, the
sides would only be half of that or 7%261%2F2 feet.
