Question 703990: To secure a 525-meter radio tower against high winds, guy wires are attached to a ring on the tower. The ring is 6 meters from the top. The wires form a 17o angle with the tower. To the nearest hundredth meter find the distance from the base of the tower to the guy wire anchor in the ground.
I completely understand how to do this problem other than the part where it says the ring is 6 meters from the top. Where would I add that in my equation? Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
just subtract 6m from 525, use 519 m to solve the problem
