SOLUTION: Find the slope and y-intercept of the following line. 3x-2y=5
3x-2y=5 x=2
3(2)-2y=5
6-2y=5
-6 -6
-2y=-1
divide
-2y/-1 = 1/2
is this correct (I feel lost)

You can put this solution on YOUR website! The standard equation of a line is Y = mX + B, where m is the slope and b is the Y-intercept.
I am not sure where you got the X=2 from unless that was given to you from the book.
Given:
We need to get Y by iteslf
Subtract 3X from both sides
Divide both sides by -2
So the slope is 3/2
and the Y-intercept is -5/2
