I have no clue on how to solve this homework question. I started a new school and I am now in 8th grade Algebra I. -3
Add 3 to each side of the inequality.
-3 + 3 < x + 2 + 3 < 7 + 3
-3 + 3 = 0
2 + 3 = 5
7 + 3 = 10
< x + 5 < 10
Subtract 5 from each side of the inequality.
< x + 5 - 5 < 10 - 5
5 - 5 = 0
10 - 5 = 5
x < 5

The Answer:
x < 5
