Let the smaller number be called x.
the larger number is 9 times this plus 5
the larger number is 9x+5
These both sum to 75 so we have
x+9x+5=75
simplifying gives
10x+5=75
so therefore
10x=70
which gives x=7
If x=7 then the larger number is 9X7+5=68
the numbers are 7 and 68
