Question 70251: Determine which two equations represent perpendicular lines.
(a) y = x – 3
(b) y = 3x –
(c) y = x +
(d) y = x –

You can put this solution on YOUR website! None of those equations are perpendicular that I can see, unless theres more info. Perpendicular lines are related by inversed and negated slopes. So if I have a slope of 3, the perpendicular slope is -1/3. If I have a slope of 1, then I have a slope of -1/1 or just -1. So maybe you wrote the wrong problem (it looks like 3 equations are incomplete), but none of these are perpendicular to any other line.
