Question 702147: I don't understand how to do radicals with numbers, like 8 square rooted by 3 is 2. My problem is to simplify this: sqrt (81x^2) with the little radical number being 3. if that makes sense. Answer by KMST(5328) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Inside a cubic root, factor out anything that is a cube.
Then split the root into a product of the roots of the factors,
and then simplify that part that can be simplified.
