2X+3Y=5
Answer by sofiyac(983) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! 4X+Y=-15
2X+3Y=5 multiply this one by -2
**********
4X+Y=-15
-4X-6Y=-10 now add them
*********
-5Y=-25 divide both sides by -5
Y=5 now plug this into either of the original equations, i'll use first one
4X+5=-15 subtract 5 from each side
4X=-20 divide both sides by 4
x=-5
(-5,5)
