How do I find the answer for what power of 10 needs to be added to 10 to the 6th divided by 10 to the 2nd to get 100,010,000?
I'm confused because I don't understand how the 1 is in the 10,000 place. What I've done so far is to take 10 to the 6th & subtract 10 to the 2nd which leaves me with 10 to the 4th which has a value of 10,000.
If I assume there is a typo in 100,010,000 and it should be 100,000,000 then I now need 4 more zeros so I'd have to add on 10 to the 4th.
Does this all make sense & am I on the right track?
