If the water is pumped out of the pool at the rate of 13m^3(cubed) per hour,
how many hours does it take to empty the pool?
Use the value 3.14 for Pi , and round your answer to the nearest hour.

Find the volume of the pool (r = half the diameter)
V = pi%2Ar%5E2%2Ah
V = pi%2A8%5E2%2A1.7
V = 341.8 cu/m

Find the time to pump this volume of water out
t = 341.8%2F13
t = 26.3 ~ 26 hrs
