You can put this solution on YOUR website! It means something of great significance and importance that has happened in the past (or very distant past). For example, the signing of the declaration of independence is an historic event due to its significance and the events that followed afterwards. However, this isn't a math question and this question is suited better for either an language or history website. I'm sure you'll get better responses on those type of websites.
