You can
put this solution on YOUR website!
(a + 5)(a² - 7a + 7)
= a(a²) + a(-7a) + a(7) + 5(a²) + 5(-7a) + 5(7) {used distributive property}
= a³ - 7a² + 7a + 5a² - 35a + 35 {multiplied through}
= a³ - 2a² - 28a + 35 {combined like terms}
