=(8-5)^2+(-5-5)^2+(7-5)^2+(-10-5)^2+(5+5)^2/5
=9+100+4+225+100/5
=438/5
=87.6
D)standard deviation=s^2=summation(x-mean x)^2/n-1
(8-5)^2+(-5-5)^2+(7-5)^2+(-10-5)^2+(5+5)^2/4
=438/4
=109.5
E)variance=sq(109.5)
=10.46
