You can put this solution on YOUR website!
sqrt%283x%2B1%29%2B1=x

sqrt%283x%2B1%29=x-1

3x%2B1=%28x-1%29%5E2

0=%28x-1%29%5E2-3x-1

%28x-1%29%5E2-3x-1=0

x%5E2-2x%2B1-3x-1=0

x%5E2-5x=0

x%28x-5%29=0

x=0 or x-5=0

x=0 or x=5

-------------------------------------------------------

So the two *possible* answers are x=0 or x=5

However, only one of these solutions actually work (ie are actually solutions).

You have to check to see if they work (which is something I leave for you to do)
