9(x - 2) + 9(x) = 12(x)(x - 2) ----- Multiplying by LCD, x(x - 2)

9x+-+18+%2B+9x+=+12x%5E2+-+24x

12x%5E2+-+24x+-+18x+%2B+18+=+0

12x%5E2+-+42x+%2B+18+=+0

6%282x%5E2+-+7x+%2B+3%29+=+6%280%29 ---- Factoring out the GCF, 6 to simplify trinomial

2x%5E2+-+7x+%2B+3+=+0

(2x - 1)(x - 3) = 0

2x - 1 = 0 ---- 2x = 1 ----- highlight_green%28x+=+1%2F2%29

x - 3 = 0 ---- highlight_green%28x+=+3%29

Many problems similar to no. 2 have been done previously for you (I think). You should be able to follow the same concept and figure this one out.
